Discover how a passion for both photography and dogs evolved into a multi-faceted creative business for Kathy Kupka. Kathy's journey from photography enthusiast to specialized dog photographer, led to the creation of her original line of dog-themed greeting cards, and her two photo books. Being a cancer survivor herself, her "Cancer is Ruff" photo book is an honest and refreshingly humorous photo book that pairs the side effects of cancer treatment with perfectly matched canine expressions from her portfolio.

Kathy will have a informative slide show presentation and a live presentation of photographing two different dogs.

Let's take what you know, make it work for pets and make it better! For this class, we are actually going to do a Zoom meeting together sometime before we meet to brainstorm a theme, so I can pull together items that we will design a small set, set up the light for, bring in several pets, and photograph them using different lighting techniques and posing skills, and if there's time, we will even talk thru different editing techniques. If there isn't time in class, we will schedule a short Zoom follow up afterwards to at least share some images with each other.
